Data used by NETT
- Food, workout, body metric, and preference data are used to show daily progress inside the app.
- Apple Health access is optional and may include steps, active energy, and sleep summary for activity context.
- Camera access is only used when the user chooses to capture food photos or create local share images.
AI and server processing
- AI food recognition is an estimate. Users can review and edit results before saving.
- Requests may be sent to the NETT gateway at api.nettapp.fit for analysis.
- Production logging is designed to avoid storing raw HealthKit samples, authorization headers, provider secrets, or food photos as permanent logs.
Subscriptions and account data
- VIP subscriptions are processed by the App Store.
- Sign in with Apple or Google may be used for account and Buddy features.
- Buddy sharing requires user confirmation and can be disconnected by the user.
